PHASE Teams

PHASE (Practical Help Achieving Self Empowerment) was born in the the UK, but with very important input from Jiban Karki, who then went on to found our main partner, PHASE Nepal, with a group of professional Nepalese friends.

We also have a sister organisation in Austria, PHASE Austria, who  supports PHASE Nepal directly, in close coordination with PHASE Worldwide.

The governing body of PHASE Worldwide are its (currently four) trustees, who, according to the trust deed are personally responsible for the administration of PHASE funds. They meet every three months in regular trustee meetings where official decisions are made. Occasionally, special meetings are called. These meetings are open to the public, except where confidential personnel decisions are discussed.

To support and guide the trustees we also have several “technical boards” who meet as required, according to the work load. Currently these include: The Fundraising Group, the Communications Group, the Education Group and the Colposcopy Group. For more information about any of these Working Groups, please click here. The PHASElets, our junior branch,  could also be considered as one of these boards.
